I felt fortunate that I was able to experience Missy and Mesut's wedding day. Coming from Turkey, Mesut and his family joined Missy's North Dakotan gang to celebrate their union. That day, two unlikely groups of people became one huge family and there was an overwhelming feeling of joy. Families were brought together by the unbreakable love Missy and Mesut share for each other.

I also became very fond of Missy's father. He is such a proud papa who loves his little girl. Normally it is the photographer who is with the couple all day, but Missy's Dad never left her side. I don't think I ever saw him with out his camera!!!

Rebecca and Jared at Elbow Lake Lodge

Rebecca and Jared brought us out to Cook, Minnesota for the weekend. The weather was gorgeous and the wedding guests stayed in these picturesque cabins. Everywhere we looked there was another great shot! Three of the tuxes were absent on the wedding day, but the couple took it all in stride and the missing tuxes arrived just moments before the ceremony started. Everything went smoothly after that. I don't know if I can describe what the light looked like that night. The way the sunset was skimming across the lake, hitting the windows and reflecting back onto the tables– uhh unbelievable!

Amanda and Adam's wedding was perfect..well almost. Amanda forgot her wedding shoes at home and spent the day in her flip flops. However it didn't bother her a bit. She couldn't wait to see her soon to be husband. There wasn't a dry eye in the place when Amanda walked down the isle, and Adam couldn't take his eyes off his new bride. This wedding was nothing short of magical.
