April & Chris at The Depot
April and Chris had an elegant black and white soiree at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis. They meticulously planned every detail down to the black and white flowers by Fleurissima Design Studio and pulled off a gorgeous event. The grand ballroom of the old train station proved to be the perfect compliment to their modern style.
Jane and Doug Married in Battle Lake!
The sunny sky over Battle Lake was a deep blue on the day of Jane and Doug's nuptials. For a blend of family history and an intimate setting, a country church and Jane's parent's shoreline were chosen for the locations. As parting gifts, they shared honey from Doug's bees which was a huge hit for the guests-- especially the children in the crowd! Jane shared in a thank you speech that she wasn't too concerned over the details of the day and had accepted a lot of input from her friends and family; in that moment she expressed an overwhelming sense that the day was truly perfect and she couldn't imagine anything better.
10th Anniversary and a Surprise Wedding!
Tim knocked Kate's socks off on their 10th Wedding Anniversary when he handed her an invitation. Stunned, Kate reread the invitation and realized that it was for a surprise wedding-- their wedding. Tim planned a beautiful backyard event for a vow renewal and amazingly kept it a secret for months. Even their two children kept it a secret. Kate soon found out that her friends, family, photographers, caterers, a gorgeous dress and a new ring were waiting for her. The atmosphere was electric!

Paired is a local art/food event that happens on a more or less monthly basis; the location, artist, menu and table companions change every time.
For their April event, chef Chris Olson of Barbette and Kevin Horkheimer of Northern Brewer partnered with local tattoo artist David Dettloff to bring an evening full of good food, home brewed beer and body art.
Guests are chosen by lottery and notified one day in advance of the dinner's location. Photos below are from the group's fourth event at the Northern Brewer warehouse.
