:: Helena & Chris ::

Amanda and I photographed Helena and Chris last night. They were such a riot. It is wonderful to see two people that compliment in such a natural way. Chris is a super down to earth guy with a heart of gold and a deep love for competitive running. Helena is bursting with energy, on top of every detail and cute as a button.

They couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It's great to just watch them interact. I can't stop smiling about it. To add to their super cuteness, they just flew home from a three week trip to China (a 14 hour flight) and they still giggled like best friends throughout the whole shoot. I think they are truly soul mates.

Denise and Mike met in New York City. Their love story had them following each other from city to city. So it was important to them to have the elements of city in their portraits. I had so much fun working with this couple. We spent about 3 hours going to different locations downtown Minneapolis. I was so happy with what I was photographing that I got carried away and took 1000 photos...:) Thanks Mike and Denise for a great portrait session!!!!

Missy and Mesut asked me to come out to Chicago for their portraits. How could I say no? I love Chicago! I love the way Missy's red jacket calls out red landmarks in the cool overcast city-scape.
